2015 will be a meaningful and important year for Dongkuk Steel as it marks the historic first year of our group’s steel consolidation of operations.

Through the ‘culmination of strengths’ and the ‘concentration of capabilities’, we seek to drastically transform ourselves. Even during crises, the opportunities to grow remain. Great companies actively seek solutions to the problems rather than complain about the circumstances.

Our Management Policy for 2015 can be summarized into three categories.

‘Responsibility Management’ shows our emphasis on creating sustainable profit though active response of our changing environment. ‘Speed Management’ will be our means of simplifying processes and creating efficient communication. ‘Future Management’ represents our initiative to lead the market through the strengthening of core capabilities.

Together we will move one step further towards our ‘centennial dream’.

There is an old proverb that says ‘All sunshine makes a desert’. It means that there is no future when favorable conditions lead to complacency. We believe current difficulties are all part of the process of becoming a global steel manufacturer.

2015 will be a year which Dongkuk Steel will advance into the global steel industry seeking growth quantitatively and qualitatively through the continuous development of technology and product quality.

Dongkuk Steel will put forth our best efforts in demonstrating our potential as a powerhouse leading the revival of the Korean steel industry.
