The New Year 2015 ‘year of the sheep’ has dawned upon us.

Dongkuk Steel is continuing journey as a major steel manufacturer in Korea. With 60 years of tradition behind us, we now prepare ourselves for the centennial through the integration of our steel business operation.

60 years back when Dongkuk Steel began on a barren mud flat in Yongho-dong, Busan, we had little capital, technology and experience. We have built todays Dongkuk with the passion and spirit for building a strong steel-manufacturing nation. Our strengths root from our organization and it underlying unity where we have a strong family like bond throughout our group.

Our accomplishments and our future depend on our people.

While people have caused crises, it is also people that resolve those crises. We will overcome the challenges ahead of us with the wisdom and knowledge which we have accumulated and the strong relationship with our partners. We know there will be higher obstacles and we are confident we will overcome each and every challenge ahead.
